Stefan Eichinger is based in Berlin and Heidelberg where he is part of the HD800 team and also runs the multimedia label 800achtspur. He has remixed the likes of Isolée, Richard Bartz, Product 01 and even German pop act Xavier Naidoo, while Sven Väth included Lopazz´ first bona fide club hit “I Need Ya” in his “Sound of the Fourth Season” mix CD. Over the years he released on labels like Output Recordings, Compost Black Label and Lasergun.
His first appearance on Get Physical was the remix of Chelonis R. Jones’ “I Don’t Know”, followed by the release of his own track “Migracion” in 2004 and “Share My Rhythm” earlier this year.
“Kook Kook” features twelve tracks which demonstrate Stefan Eichinger´s large musical influences spreading from house electro and techno within the tracks “Share My Rhythm” and “Wet Sweat”, to pop ("We Are"), funk ("Discogs", “2 Fast 4 U") and jazz ("Bottleneck", “Credit Card Receipt").
